Organic Transit E.L.F.

Found out about the Organic Transit E.L.F. on the internet. What a great idea!

It's a kind of covered electric bicycle. Either pedal powered, or solar powered. It takes about 8 hours in the sun to charge or, you can charge it at an electrical socket.

Evidently with pedal power you can get to speeds of 20 miles per hour. Can be used anywhere a bicycle can be used. Tall and bright and easily seen, and yet narrow enough to use in bicycle lanes or on the footpath.

It is a great idea as you get weather protection (it can even be fitted with doors to help further with this). Plus it has very low running costs and, of course, no need for petrol, warrant of fitness, or registration. And they can be bought in New Zealand!! I know, right?

They are costly in New Zealand, about $15,000 if I remember rightly. However, if I ever have enough money to get one, I think it is worthy of investment! A lot less expenses with this way of travelling and great for personal fitness!

Blessings to you all. xx
