LOVE Is What Makes the World Go Around!
Have you ever heard the saying 'money makes the world go round'? Well, I don't agree! I believe it is LOVE that makes the world go round. Namely, GOD's love!
We gotta have GOD'S love, and then we know that all things are in His hands, and that He has good plans for us!
And we do have God's love. It's right there for us, if we will accept it. When we accept this precious free gift of love from our Heavenly Father, we do not have to worry about anything, no matter what happens. Somehow we know that God is going to work it all out, come what may. For we are His children and He truly cares for us.
Matthew 22:36-40 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
36 Teacher, which [a]kind of commandment is great and important (the principal kind) in the Law? [Some commandments are light—which are heavy?]
37 And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect).
38 This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment.
39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.
40 These two commandments [b]sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets.
Accepting God's love, frees us to love Him right back, and also enables us to love others freely. From the base of loving Him and accepting His love, we have overflowing love to give to others. We find we are not so shy anymore, and we are caring about others in an easy way. We find we are not so wrapped up only in ourselves but we truly care about others and want to be there for them and we desire to be a blessing to them. Don't ask me how this works, it just does! God's love is just so magnificent!
1 Peter 5:7-10 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
7 Casting the [c]whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, [d]once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you [e]watchfully.
8 Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [[f]in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.
9 Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset—rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same ([g]identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world.
10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.
Maybe you are facing uncertain times right now. You are feeling pressed by circumstances and needs that are facing you. The Lord has shown me that this is the time to keep trusting Him for, in His time, He will sort it all out. The Lord always keeps His promises, and always in His timing. In your opinion the Lord may be late, but don't worry about it. Keep trusting Him and following any guidance He gives you, and He will have you covered within the situation! So these are the times to keep resting in His love, and to keep trusting Him. Once again God's love prevails!
Matthew 25:33-40 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
33 And He will cause the sheep to stand at His right hand, but the goats at His left.
34 Then the King will say to those at His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father [you [g]favored of God and appointed to eternal salvation], inherit (receive as your own) the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
35 For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you [h]brought Me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and [i]lodged Me,
36 I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me [j]with help and ministering care, I was in prison and you came to see Me.
37 Then the just and upright will answer Him, Lord, when did we see You hungry and gave You food, or thirsty and gave You something to drink?
38 And when did we see You a stranger and welcomed and entertained You, or naked and clothed You?
39 And when did we see You sick or in prison and came to visit You?
40 And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least [[k]in the estimation of men] of these My brethren, you did it for Me.
Another wonderful thing about God's love is that it spurs us into action into loving others in practical ways. The Lord will place on our heart a caring for someone going through a difficult time. This is the time to pray for that person and seek the Lord as to whether there is anything practical we can do to help. Could we go over and do some work on their yard, or do some housework for them, or take around a dinner? It truly is better to give than to receive, as long as we do it with a loving heart. As it says in His Word, when we minister to others we are ministering to Jesus Himself. Isn't that wonderful?
In conclusion I reiterate, '(God's) Love is What Makes the World Go Round!
